This housing project is placed in Berlin’s Hansaviertel Quarter. The shape of the building resumes the one of the site in which is located. It rises above nine concrete blocks that are at the same time the stairs that allow to enter the single apartments. The facade is blind because this is a busy area so I wanted to guarantee the inhabitants’ peace and privacy. The necessary light for each apartment comes from their inner patios and from the skylights. Indeed, the main idea of my project was to create a building in which each apartment could have his own green area.
